I try to be involved in my community.

Mayfair Business Improvement District - Chairman of the Board of Directors. Finally an organizaton that actually has an annual budget. As chairman my goal is make sure the BID operates as transparently as possible and with as much consenus as possible; even when I may not like it.

Mayfair Monarch Project - Mia Hyland and I started this to beautify the neighborhood. Our mission has expanded to help save the endangered Monarch Butterfly by encouraging the planting of milkweed. This project operates as part of the Mayfair Business Association. There are no titles or officers. We just do, together.

Mayfair Business Association - officially I am the president, but the MBA is more of a swarm rather than a hierarchy. It is a very modern organization, the sort that could only exist with today's technology. A bunch of us work together to get things done. We support each other's goals and step in to help where needed. Among other things, together we have pulled off the Mayfair May Fair since 2008 and the Fallen Heroes Run since 2009. In 2010, members of the MBA took responsiblity for the Mayfair-Holmesburg Thanksgiving Parade. I am very proud to be associated with such a great group of people.

Tacony CDC - Board of Directors. Our efforts are bearing fruit. Tacony is starting to happen.
